MUSIC

Music education can play a vital role in your child’s development, as it helps to improve self-confidence, concentration, and memory, while also enhancing communication, language and reasoning skills. Studies have also shown how the enjoyment of learning an instrument can even increase your child’s IQ, and help them achieve higher grades in core subjects including English and mathematics.

In addition to classes held throughout the school day, we have partnered with the International Music Institute (IMI) to strengthen the quality and variety of our music education and all our lessons are taught by professionally trained instructors. These extracurricular lessons are based upon the musical skill levels of the students, ranging anywhere from beginner to advanced. We offer a wide range of classes which are:

Vocal
Guitar; Acoustic, Classical, Electric, Bass
Piano
Strings; Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass
Woodwind; Recorder, Piccolo, Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Cor Anglais, Saxophone, Bassoon
Brass; Trumpet, Cornet, Flugel Horn, Tenor Horn, French Horn, Baritone, Euphonium, Trombone, Tuba

ALDAR ACADEMIES

EMPOWERING OUR NEXT GENERATION TO SHAPE OUR FUTURE

This is the Aldar Academies purpose; one big idea that has a positive influence both in the classroom and out in the wider community.

As a leading provider of private education, we have a responsibility to uphold the highest standards of education as we guide the next generation. By doing so, society benefits greatly, because this same generation will be the one to lead our future. But just how do we meet our purpose?

A COLLABORATIVE, EMIRATE-WIDE NETWORK

We make our big idea happen using the strength of our network. With six academies in Abu Dhabi and one in Al Ain, we share knowledge and best practice between our exceptional teachers every single day. Ultimately, this has helped us to become greater as a whole than the sum of our parts.

A LEADER FOR EDUCATION INNOVATION

Alongside skilled and qualified teachers, our entire network also combines the very latest education technology, which we incorporate with the curriculum in the most effective way. Students build their skills and acquire knowledge with some of the very same tools they’ll eventually use in the professional world, preparing them for a digital future.

A DIRECT PATH TO INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITIES

Once a student becomes a part of the Aldar Academies community, they can walk a path with us straight to university. Aldar Academies’ students gain an automatic placement to other academies in the network as they progress from primary school right up to post-16 study, avoiding any waiting lists.

AN ACCESSIBLE, EXCEPTIONAL EDUCATION

With education playing such a pivotal role in the communities we serve, it is our aim to reach as many young people in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain as we possibly can. To this end, we have positioned our tuition fees to make our celebrated education accessible to more families across both Emirates.

A  LEVELS (YEAR 12 – 13)

A Levels are globally recognised qualifications which open doors to top local and international universities worldwide. Students will choose subjects that they are passionate about and which they hope to go on and study at university.

At Al Mamoura Academy our students excel academically, however, as a graduate of Al Mamoura School it means they are an outstanding, rounded leader, capable of making the most of all life experiences. We see happy learners that take great pride in their academy and aspire to realise their ambitions through high expectations for al. Our environment is not only conducive to high quality learning and progress, but built on strong foundations of respect and integrity. We are now preparing our students for successes in roles that currently do not exist. At Al Mamoura our focus is to develop each student with the skills to support the future. Learning skills around critical thinking, communication and collaboration are fundamental for this, combined with the life skills of leadership and adaptability. The students I have worked alongside this year are equipped to rise to that challenge. The curriculum and extra activities provided in Al Mamoura this year have given our students the skills needed to embrace these challenging times – to be innovative, creative, team players and forward thinkers, and over the next few years this curriculum will be developed further to enhance our students opportunities.
